Meet your new Shropshire Councillor for Shawbury at the Annual Parish Meeting

The Clive Annual Parish Meeting will be taking place on TUESDAY 20th May 2025. This is not a Parish Council meeting, it is a bit like an AGM, and is also known as the "meeting of the electors". The Annual Parish Meeting is a fantastic opportunity to find out what is going on with various groups in the local community, and there is an open session at the end where members can share additional news and raise any concerns you may have. We are also very pleased that your newly elected Shropshire Councillor for Shawbury (Cllr Alison Williams) is planning to join us that evening, so this is a good chance to meet her and hear about issues that have come up in the first few weeks since the election.

NB. As it is not a Council meeting, no Council decisions can be made at this meeting, but information can certainly be passed on the Council for future consideration.

Presentation from Atlas Tower Group postponed

Atlas Tower Group, who have been looking into a potential mobile communications mast in Clive, were due to give a presentation at the Annual Parish Meeting about their proposals. However, we have just heard that unfortunately they will no longer be attending on 20th May, so there will be no presentation on the proposed mast. We are hopeful that we will be able to rearrange the presentation once Atlas Tower Group have finalised a few more details on their end and are ready to share proposals with the community.

The Annual Parish Meeting is still going ahead on Tues 20th May though, and we would love to see a good number of you at Clive Village Hall that evening.
