The proposed development south of Station Road is to be determined by the Shropshire Council Northern Planning Committee at its meeting on Tues 20th October 2026. Please note this is an outline planning application, and the sole matter submitted for determination at this point is the access via Station Road.

Clive Parish Council has requested and been allocated a spot for a representative to speak at the Committee Meeting. The Parish Council and Clive Matters will only have max 3 mins each to speak, and Shropshire Councillor Alison Williams will have 5 mins, so the 3 parties have coordinated to avoid duplication and ensure the most important points are all covered in the short time available.

In addition to the Committee Meeting on October 20th, a site meeting has been arranged for Northern Planning Committee members for earlier the same day. The Council has been invited to send up to 2 representatives, and we have responded to confirm our intention to attend. However, there will be no opportunity to share views/opinions on the application, but the Councillor may be asked to point out geographical features/information as points of fact to the Committee.
